How to photograph it so the estimate comes back accurate

Stand in the doorway and take one photo of each wall — four per room. Don't worry about the framing. We're looking at surfaces, not composition.
One of the ceiling, straight up from the middle of the room.
One of the trim and a door, close enough to see the current finish.
Close up anything damaged — patches, water stains, peeling, wallpaper edges, nail pops. Photograph the worst of it, not the best of it. Telling us now costs you nothing. Finding it on day one costs you a change order.
Turn the lights on and open the blinds. Dark photos hide exactly what changes the price.
Upload room by room if you can, so we know which walls belong together.
